I ran across a great deleted from one of my all-time favorite movies the other day, so I thought I’d share.
I’ve always been a huge fan of High Fidelity, the 2000 film adaptation of \Nick Hornby’s book of the same name. John Cusack crushed the lead role as record store owner Rob Gordon, and the whole movie serves as a weird love letter to both record collectors and dumb dudes everywhere. It might just be my favorite music-related movie of all time … or at least a firm No. 2 behind Almost Famous.
Anyway, in this deleted scene, Beverly D’Angelo plays a woman who invites Rob over to buy her husband’s AMAZING 45 collection. He’s ready to make a serious offer when … well, just watch it for yourself.
Great, right?! I know it doesn’t necessarily fit with the rest of the movie, but it’s a shame they couldn’t find room for it somewhere.
